Aliens versus Predator 2000

So for those of you are not aware, the original AvP game got rereleased on steam for £2.99 (or $3 if you are american I think)

This was the FIRST game i was ever in a clan in, and i used to play it over a 56k connection back in 1999. Its one of the most atmospheric, intense shooters ever released and its multiplayer is ALOT of fun.

Hahaha, too many moments in that game fucking raped my soul the first time I played it.

Namely when you walk out of the control room air lock and into the pitch dark and throw a flare. The Space Jockey ship looms up at you from out the dark and no matter how many flares you throw you cannot pierce the overwhelming blackness. It makes you feel utterly tiny and insignificant.

The most horrible moment though is when you head outside into Hadley's Hope for the first time and have to make the choice between Night Vision and Motion Tracker because you WILL run into every wall and dead end fate can throw in your direction whilst being chased by twenty Xeno's.

Game is some scary shit, even these days.
