Planet Explorers

Currently, there is a game that was successfully Kickstarted called Planet Explorers. The premise of the game is the Colony Ship you are a passenger on is coming in to final descent on a new planet, and as it comes in to the atmostphere, it collides with some sort of flying rock formation.

Your job as one of the survivors from the many lifeboats that managed to get out is to gather survivors, build a base, fend off the local wildlife, and more.

It behaves like a cross between Minecraft, Tower Defense, and Shores of Hazeron in terms of being able to design your own melee and ranged weapons, and small and large vehicles.

It will have both Single and Multiplayer capabilities of gameplay. Multiplayer will have a Build Mode, Adventure Mode, and Co-op as well as a 4v4 Versus mode.

Single Player will have a Story mode on the 17x8 Km continent the ship crashed on.

Sounds a lot like that other game that was on steam not too long ago. You build stuff and defend against ailiuns.
