I only understood some of what Bane just said but I think I agree with him

I tried WG:EE the other day for a minute...was ok...for $4...not sure I'd be as forgiving spending $20 on WG:ALB (which is a gay fucking name btw)

I think it's called airland battle because the battle is now in the air and on land. In a much wider sense, since there are jets now.

EXACTLY! EXACTLY! And you can have them. And Harriers, and F-15's, which, in my opinion, is one of the coolest jets ever. (And 95 others or something.)

But the deck system, and a few other systems are superior in AB.
But that is a viable option I guess.

This game is effectively World in Conflict and seems pretty cool, I will look at getting both of them at some points when funds are available.
