Nova test

So apparently, the Nova would suck and not be worth the effort. Also Defender considers it impossible anyway.

I lack the knowledge to judge that second part, but I think it might still be a viable mech if it works. Obviously, that is something that would have to be put to the test. I shall do that, because nobody else can or will.

Now, I'm not asking for the devs to jump all the hoops needed for a Nova-style mech. I'm merely trying to confirm whether the Nova would be an useful asset or utter garbage (and hopefully have fun while doing so!).

Therefore, once the free reticule has been implemented (whenever that may be), I will be offering a closed test server featuring a mech with 0 torso twist and insane turn rate / acceleration and the typical weapon configurations of the Nova. The server would be passworded against random pubbers and to prevent Kingleer's underwear from becoming stained. Just a couple of players, one server and fraps.

Who would be interested in such an event?
