It was good fun, and had be jabbering away like crazy with excitement.

A good romp just like the same feeling with Risk of Rain.

Unfair difficulty is for those who like to be repeatedly punish themselves. you go into one room and think yeah great awesome and you clear a couple more rooms but then 4 summon stones spawn and 12 guys become 120 in a couple of minutes, a chunk of witch are pesky ranged monsters.

Its very very easy for the YEAH! to turn into AAAAYYYYYHHHH! and you cry as you only managed to take off 5% health of one out of 4 summon stones, and when it states "how are we supposed to eat this golden food?" it really means it, there is no food as its gold instead.

soo dont get hit... at all... ever...

Yes I still have it installed. Also others should get this so we can do a 4 player on harder game modes for maximum derp and butthurt.

The game is a legitimate fun coop game where you can also dick each other over in fun non harmful ways.

It's legitimately good, only 4 player...I've already called legalus

But it is good, you really have to work together on very hard, but competing for the most gold was fun and pretty harmless

Warrior!

Unfortunately unlike in other Gauntlet games you can select the same character as its not by class/colour

Ensalus likes the Wizard too so that's 2 wizards but It doesn't matter to much.

Yes, you can wuzzard, he's really powerful, but hard to use...and he needs other characters to allow him time to charge up and eat everything...

Colosseum is free but the Necromancer is real moneys.

I had a bash on it short while ago (few minutes before posting this) and its just as fun as the end of level arenas and more or less the same.

You have to unlock each stage and then there is a corresponding challenge for it to unlock the cape, though its just a silly vanity item but also a badge of honour so to speak as to say "Guess how big my E-Peen is!"

Already unlocked my first one.

even though, I notice funky scaling with difficulty...


2 players + Hard = fuck
3 players + Hard = easy mode, no worries
4 players + Hard = cluster fuck



I did enjoy it though, so I'm at the parents house, I don't have my head set, so.....I'm up for Gauntlet in the next couple days, just not TS3...Just message me on Steam if anyone is interested in a game

Yeah I noticed that.. like at some points where only two spawner's appear there would be four instead and the spawn rate increased too.

Good news on the content update.. Apparently though there's no date or anything set, the devs are working on new content and tweaks to the existing content as well as adding a new game mode. Just hope its not time attack or something generic like that.

This really is a good game, a good "not sure what to play" game....not really into playing it along though...

Well its now been released and the "update" is ready in the game and its a HUGE update at that. (1.5gb)


They where a bit vague in what they said about the content of the update but by the sounds of it it is more or less almost a complete overhaul of the game as well as a new game mode but they didn't say what.

They call it the "Slayer Edition" and its free to all who already have the game and they also said that the PC version took priority too so fuck you consoles!


Its updating now and I will give it a whirl once its done and see if I can figure whats new and such.
