Hey Haarp. Would you consider putting beta on puretech mode. Last time I played puretech it was awesome and with the new balance, it's about time Invictus recognized that MW:LL is IS biased instead of just crying L2P noob, when I say that IS has way too much armor when compared to clan.

I wouldn't mind some Puretech again on Alpha either, see how it is in 0.7.

For me most interesting parts are:
1. Is Solitaire able to actually fight Osiris?
2. Is clan AA (air and\only ground) able to handle IS air superiority.

Partisan should ideally be available for both sides just to give something for AA purposes that's not LOL I evade your missiles by making them hit my invulnerable part of my plane. the ass end of it.

Still if its a Corsair and you have jump-jets what you can do is just wait for the right moment and then jump full blast the corsair goes of shit and pulls while forgetting about the hanging tail fin, clips your mech then goes ploughing straight into the ground.

As for the Shiva BS then all i say to that is to just get in a really cheap air asset and repeatedly ram the guy until he rage quits, that's probably the only counter to that flying piece of bullshit.

Obviously if a clan light costs as much as IS medium it is "cheap". But if clan light could actually defeat an IS medium then it would obviously be OP.

Example: Uller C - 51.3k + 1.6k for ammo = 52.9k
Chimera Prime - 55k
Chimera has 1.5-2x Uller firepower, same speed, JJ and 2-3x uller armor.

I can see how that's balanced. And I wonder where ALL the fucking Clan based units went and why are there only 2-3 people playing with clan tags.

Well in that case all Is lights and most of their mediums are cheap, and all clan starting assets are cheap, clan assets too adn let us not forget BA weapons. In fact, you guys should increase the cost of all assets/equipment under 55k to at least 65k since they are so cheap.

Sorry if I have better engagements in life than memorizing mech variants. You know which variant I was talking about.

I was talking about prime. Both it's armor and DPS are higher than uller and it's definitely more than 510 (dunno where you even pulled that number out). It has better mobility and same speed. B is even better, considering how rape xPL are and the fact that when HL and ATM were this rape they were nerfed in one patch.

The answer to that is all the ASF topics which you dismissed the same way you dismiss these topics. ASF in MWLL are Flying tanks with mech loadout, when instead you should have ultimate, fast glass cannons. A single Gauss slug should pierce right through every light and medium ASF and should down heavy and assault ASF in one shot. The only thing flying that should survive a gauss shot is a Medium and above VTOL. Now since this is not fully possible in MWLL due to engine limitations here's an idea - nerf armor a bit and increase the speed a bit, also make everything except lasers knock ASF a bit seriously and make the intensity increase with the bigger bullets and their number (that will make hits with LBX and large bore AC a lot more serious.) IMHO Assault ASF should not have the ability to outturn LRM and both heavy and assault should not outturn ATM.


But the topic at hand isn't ASF balance, it's Clan vx IS balance and the fact that Clan is severely lacking armor and sometimes heat efficiency. My input here is following (and I will double this on MWLL forums):

Give all FF armor mounting assets +25% (for clan)/+12.5% (for IS) armor, that doesn't take tonnage (but is charged for in c-bills) also I don't mind increasing the Clan armor cost to 1.0000 per point if it proves too much. Set free DHS of Vulture and Loki to +2 free DHS (maybe even to +3 since then it will be possibly to mount 20 CLRM-20 on vulture) and reduce vulture internal structure weight by 1 ton to give it 1 more DHS. As this will primarily increase clan fighting efficiency and survivability, make clan all assets generate 10% more C-bills. Also make some really rape variants for IS mechs (make IS version of 4x DSSRM-6 mech for example), so they have something to counter high cost clan heavy mechs. And for the love of god remove C3 from clan mechs. They don't have Longtoms and clan with C3 is why their heavies are so strong in PT TC. Without C3 - clan does not have the ability to reposition when slower IS mech approach clan bases, but only once capture has begun, then clan mech respond quickly with their high speed. Alternatively - reduce clan heavy mech speeds to 75 kph to limit their speed advantage. This will finally put clan where it should be with it power, but it won't further increase the survivability of most clan assaults, since most clan assaults cary standard armor anyway (which is also the reason why the only clan mechs that were as powerful as they should be are clan assaults).
