CBT RP Discussion: Rebirth

Alrightt boys and girl, the game is now pencilled in for the 16th of November, as I was dumb when speaking to Icevamp and forgot about the event im going to this weekend.

16th is also technically a large sword event day as well, but fuck it. If I go, ill run on the night regardless. Work laptop meet megamek. Hopefully there won't be any port issues, as I wont be using my main machine on the same network and the laptops also a crapshoot.

Same time as usual. Ill update main thread once I get home work wont appreciate me dicking about on forums but felt I should update you guys.

Anyone mind if I put the game back for another week and instead put on a simple normal megamek game on this Saturday? Thatll enable yalk to play whilst also still having something this weekend.

The pick up game ill run as a alternative event going on elsewhere to give it some meaning. Im going tovbe on ts tonight as im not going to kendo has I have fucked my knees up.

Itd be great if so - would help me also test ports. Goong to set my laptop up to run it.

Well first of Linus went down in the first instance by a breach in the CT that caused everything to just shut down and die thats just really shitty luck. (Linus didnt die just his mech was disabled)

The Warhammer took a couple of shots at Dorn and Dorn returned the favour disabling its left arm then the next round after that another shoot from a Pulse Laser and a PPC took our the entire right side of the Cobra except the leg with Dorn standing there taking like a man.

Next thing that happened was a Hermes decided it wanted to play with Dorn and Bran and got up in our faces so the two of us double teamed it with a kick to each leg witch caused it to fall flat on its face and breach out the cockpit instantly killing its pilot.

Then again another PPC barage and the Cobra had breaches all over teh place and wnet down, tried to get back up again but fell over and was shot in the leg causeing a breach so it was out of action with no guns and no way to get back up on its feet it was just left. (thankfully)

Thats where Vane took a lucky shot with the Stalking Spider PPC and blew the Warhammers leg clean open causing it to fall over where Bran repeatedly bitch slapped it to death.

Dierson finally came up the elevator and the Crab tried its best to out flank the Thunderbolt being its only real chance to survive.

The Urbanmech got in a lucky hit and took out one of Vanes legs causing the Spider to do down then repeatedly kicked it to pieces until Bran blew out its back with the LBX10 and the Urbs went critical and ALMOST ended the entire mission with glorious explosions by damaging one of the nearby Fuel Tanks.


Then Vane some how stood up despite lacking the ability to do so and helped Dierson finish off the Crab who got in a Hit on the Thunderbolts leg causing a breach that felled it.

So in summary everyone is fucked and disabled apart from Bran who is more or less unscathed minus a breach in its empty arm and of course those who where still down in the repair bays getting fixed up.



All in all I would say not bad for the fact that a handful of cadets with little to no Zero-G/Low-G training and or exprience took out a possible Elite Command lance.

Trunham didn't mention the death blow to the Warhammer was from a DEATH FROM ABOVE foot through the chest from bran. (It was risky but I thought you'd approve)
