Wait, so megamek is on. We'll save the match then? Because it's going to take a long time to finish an RP session in Megamek me thinks.

Megamek always takes a ass long time, I don't think adding RP too it will add that much....usually what takes the most time in the RP is the die roles when we are in combat, takes almost as much time for people to type out stuff and make roles etc as it will to plot moves and fire in Megamek me thinks


...we just gotta not screw around,

Discuss moves (in RP and TS) > make moves and type RP out > conclude turn and finish up RP dialogue > next turn


my plan was to discuss in TS what our game plan was and then as Dierson send out the orders (barring getting additional info from bane with tactics/leadership) ....That way everyone gets a say in what we do and we can keep the RP slightly more scripted and streamlined....and appear at least somewhat like the characters are mechwarriors instead of squabbling hoes on meth

Bane said it wasn't "fixed" but not as sever for a little bit...

Read what we was doing in the RP thread on the trip...he spent like 7 hours a day with the techs/reading etc for fixes

Well I don't know how we would fix the Cobra's Targeting issues save from scraping the whole computer and reinstalling a Clan targeting computer but that's more likely out of the question due to Dorn being IS Surat and Cobra again being a expendable death trap makeshift IS fire support mech.

The problem is though that the Computer has "issues" with the weapons systems and doesn't quite understand witch gives the mech a hard time hitting targets within short range. simple solution would be stay at medium or greater range.

Still a whole new mech would be lovely but that's wishful thinking, who knows maybe we will get lucky and find some Mechs on our mission that we can "acquire"


Also it shouldn't take too long as long as everyone doesn't spend 20mins taking their turn.

Well, I picked 3 mechs at random (of course he'd try and fix his own)

I failed fixing Dorn's and Brans, killed the roll on Vanes and barely passed on Dierson's....

Anyway If Bane is about this weekend and as long as there are still 5 of us present then 5 is the minimum for playing, but I don't know I guess we will have to wait and see.

I could be interesting to see what happens when no "Leadership" or Authority figures is in charge, but on that point if Dierson is not about then who is in command of the Claw 2? and its not Stephan because he is not part of Claw 2

Would it be Remus or Vane?

Its a moot point anway, as ive unfortunately travelling for 11 days starting today. So this means unfortuantely this session is going to be cancelled, nothing I can do about it.

Hopefully ill be able to run one the following Saturday to make up, but if not, normal two week interlude will have to adhered to.

Sorry guys, don't really want to go to a two day seminar on almost 0 money, but I have a reputation/my sword school to support so im duty bound to go. And it will be damn fun.

Dorn would be the same but the LRMs are more or less useless in our current environment, they are impossible to hit at long range (14+ to hit) and more or less useless at short range, their most effective yet inefficient range was medium that still needed 8 or 9 to hit, but the lasers where rape beams.

its also amusing that Dorn is also like "Man I am going to die in this death trap..." Yes so far he is more or less completely unscathed.

I can imagine when we bord the Dropship to continue the OP that the techs are going to be thinking WTF? the one Mech they thought wouldn't make it back has barely a scratch on it yet the nimble Lights are more or less in tatters.

Yes, but Dorn isn't clan like Stephan and Remus. Dorn would probably be inciled to take cover and wait for reinforcements, while Stephan and Remus charged down the center giving fuck all about the mines and heat.

I can imagine when we bord the Dropship to continue the OP that the techs are going to be thinking WTF? the one Mech they thought wouldn't make it back has barely a scratch on it yet the nimble Lights are more or less in tatters.
