Oh, being this is the OOC thread we tested in Megamek, and I'm willing to give up even more skills to maintain the original 2/6 value, being without it, the Urbie is squishy enough as is, and my BV is less than 1k without(that's less than Dorn in a standard Cylo-I mean Cobra by the by q.q)

Il think about it ens, ill have a look at your sheet and see if its makeing you feel so butthurt. It wont be done until this part of the campaign is over though.

I got a job as head it consultant which currently means I get paid by the hour to work when I like, from my bedroom, in between playing mwo. My main task is getting another firm to actually do the work we ve paid them for... So far so fun.

Im currently still through Newcastle though.

I think making him worse in other area's in compensation for 2/6 is acceptable...he is -ok- as a 2/6 pilot, but only ok...and he is in a freak'n Urbs IIC....

I think though that he only get's the 2 in the Urbanmech....in other words...keep him a 3/6 BUT he gets a +1 to his gunnery in the urbs, its a quirk for him using it so much...you could even make it more interesting and only give him the +1 with the UAC and keep his gunner with the Small pulse a 3/6

Not sure how you'd do that in megamek...I guess you could make his pilot a 2/6 but on his specific Urban mech give his SPL a -1 modifier.


besides...he's in Dierson's Claw....I want him to be kinda good....not dead after the first drop

5 walk 8 run can move up to 10 I think if it sprints

put it this way.. when it comes to real battle I think I'm going to put edge on for ammo explosion.

The Mech is a bit crap especially for 3060, but in a Star working as a fire support Mech I reckon it will work out well, just in a one on one combat its going to get hammered, that or Glorious Explosion time.


Also Bane I think you will have to give me the file or what not for the mech I will be using for the RP, obviously in the sims its not there as we don't know what modifications or such if any, have been done to our mechs.

I cant find them on Sarna - id stick with the one you were using for now. Without spoiling things, you will be getting to see your mechs in at the most two sessions time, maybe the next session if all goes well.

Sorry guys, im going to be unable to run this weekends session as im likely having to go through newcastle. Got to be there for 9am on a Sunday morning.

Ive therefore moved the session forward a week. Due to the disruption in schedule, ill likely run another one the week after the next planned session as well, so we can get some quality gametime in and finish the current arc.

Therefore, the next three session dates are:

2nd March

One Week Gap

9th March

Two Week Gap

16th March

Ok so Matt says there's still a slot availible on this, so chances are that I'll be playing with you all after all (as the schedule isn't quite as intensive as I first thought haha).

Bill, I can go ahead and assume that if Bane said its cool to join then a character bio would be a good start



...we need a good story for picking your character up, you can't just get assigned..that's lame...once you and Bane figure out a plausible but absolutely awesome way to integrate another character then base your bio around that

We're already a "unit" ish, would be lame to just through another warrior in the mix...
