Not currently, as the partner is heading off to Japanland so i dont really have any time this weekend. The Saturday after that, I am prepared to run an 8 till 11 / 12 session. So the 26th.

Due to me having a kendo grading sprung on me at 8am the following day, I've had to cancel it hence the no confirmation (i normally give more notice)

I am setting the next game date for the 9th of August. It will be going ahead, regardless on that date as I want to get a game going.

Sorry for the quietness, i've been snowed under dealing with a ton of different things.

Ironically enough the mech in the picture If your unsure is a Thunderbolt.

Me and Ens where shit talking about MWO and how Thunderbolts have suddenly become PPC boats which is a massive WTF considering half the IS mechs can only cope with a single ERPPC if your lucky due to borked heat as that mech being an lighter Awesome with ERPPCs and some how remaining heat neutral despite the mech being notoriously bad for heat management. eye rolling smiley

Clap clap PGI... But the pic I found on Sarna and got my mind thinking and I thought it was fitting.

Also cool beans It will be fun and something to distract mind from gruff stuff.

Its definetly a Thunderbolt from a dodgy angle, the cockpit shape is classic thunderbolt. Can see why you thought it was an axeman, that was my guess at first glance also.

Also Can I keep the Battle Armour? I think I will call him Mr Bubbles. I will have to train up in its use though but it would be pretty cool for infantry missions.

....I did think the other day, if bane does have a hard on for the foot missions rolling up Elemental characters and doing a campaign from their perspective could be a lot of fun


I actually like the foot missions, but it's SUPER FUCKING ANACHRONISTIC to have mechwarriors doing such things....they'd be in mechs, maybe shit ones, but mechs....elementals or dezgra solahma foot units do the infantry bit...

I think it could be cool to start a elemental campaign, could even do it along side the one we have now, depending on the mood or numbers we could swap between them

Nope, not at all. Aurora isn't actually much work from the GMs point of view as the program handles almost everything.

It was started as a way to get me back into RP without having to worry about all the sheer work that goes into a pure pen and paper RPG. IE Something my current schedule allows for. Very different beasts.

Aurora > Player driven.

Battletech > GM driven.

The intention is to start the battletech campaign back up sometime after June at the moment.

Feel free to jump onboard someones Aurora faction though also. They are not mutually exclusive at all.
